Industrial Design is understanding physical, analytical, emotional, and business goals; laying it all out, organizing it, and synthesizing it to create a well crafted and successful product. From User Experiences, Engineering, Marketing & Manufacturing Requirements, to Ergonomic Constraints and Aesthetic Direction. We as Designers need to make all these facets work together to create a successful & beautiful product.
I love dissecting design projects and developing a strategy, even if the information/data provided is only partial. I enjoy learning from Designers, Clients & Users and understanding their point of view and reasons for making certain decisions.
My passion is my family and re-learning everyday things through my kids’ eyes & experiences. It is a humbling and sobering task to be responsible for how a child interprets basic and complex subjects that are new to them. Just like teaching a child, when dealing with Design tasks, you need to break them down to their most basic concepts in order to understand and explain the age-old question..."why?"

I am a clever and analytical Industrial Designer with over 15 years experience in a consultancy environment, robotics & automation. Currently I am working as an consultant for various clients including start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. I have worked on high-volume disposable medical devices to full size airplane interior mock ups. My most recent experience involves autonomous robots for the medical industry & a fully automated makeline for restaurants.
I have also been said to work well with engineers. My goal is to deliver actionable concepts together with your Research & Development teams. I can deliver SolidWorks models ready to prototype or photo-realistic renderings for key stakeholders to approve.
